It’s called the “sincere version” of the song. I guess they dramatized the song with the new beat and that brought out the boys’ sincerity. The soft rap that almost sounds like a whisper is more than appealing in the beginning of the song. They also changed around the order of the lyrics which was refreshing.

Cube Enterainment's rookie group BEAST joins the battle of the boy bands with the debut mini-album Beast Is The B2ST! Formerly known as B2ST, K-pop's newest BEAST idols are starting out with a slight edge thanks to a six-member lineup full of familiar faces. Member Lee Gi Kwang debuted solo under the stage name AJ earlier this year.
